The difference between STEM & STEAM is the incorporation of the arts into the other categories to more fully round learning. STEAM would encourage use of both sides of the brain.

Long Island Children's Museum - Garden City

Cold Spring Harbor DNA Learning Center - Cold Spring Harbor

• STARS is a two-week summer research experience designed to support the next generation of minority scientists, doctors, and other health professionals. This program provides students with state-of-the-art laboratory and computer science skills needed to succeed in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) in college and beyond.

• The ESSK summer science camp for grades 1-9 offers a fun and engaging curriculum that will introduce the exciting world of science.
