A great community library is a thing of beauty and a joy forever.

Well, for as long as you support it with your patronage, volunteerism and tax dollars.

April 10th- the local area public libraries will be holding their Budget vote including Cold Spring Harbor Public Library (serving Cold Spring Harbor SD), Huntington Public Library (serving Huntington School District), Harborfields Public Library (serving Harborfields School District) and Northport-East-Northport Public Library (serving Northport-East Northport School District).

The voting hours vary by Library; check the website for specifics. You must be 18 and registered to vote, though you do not need to be a library card holder.
